OK, where to start…

On Feb. 12th we had a big scare.  I woke up bleeding heavily.  What happened was a tiny part of the placenta came loose and out.  The doctor called it an abruption.  They did an ultrasound and found the baby was fine.  They also found the baby was bigger then we thought, so my new due date is Aug. 1st.  They gave us 2 pictures and they are in the gallery.  One of his feet and one of his possible manhood, it was kind of early to tell.  I go for my next ultrasound on the 14th, so I’ll let you know.

We went to the doctor yesterday and heard the heartbeat again.  He’s moving around too but I don’t think I’ve felt him yet.  As of today I am 18 weeks, half way to the finish line.  I’m still throwing up, yuck, but it’s bearable.  I’m finally gaining weight.  I lost about 25 lbs in the first trimester.  I’m at 204 right now.  I’m not showing yet but I’m hoping too any time now.

For all of you wondering if we have names picked out, we do.
    Boy: Johnny Arthur Collins III  (after Eric’s father)
    Girl: Maya Kristine Collins   (after my niece Christine)
