So I’ve been thinking about this for a few days now. Here it goes…
The doctors in America say they are concerned about obesity epidemic. However, the Food & Drug Administration allows healthy food to be more expensive than processed and high fatty/salty foods. Knowing from recent polls about the American family income, we are now mostly lower-middle class. For all those families that live paycheck to paycheck, how on earth is it possible for them to eat healthy without making them even more in-debt? This aggravates me.
My quote of the day: Doctors if you want us to eat healthy then lower the price of the healthy food!
It seems to me that farmers and everyone involved with the process would make more money in the long run. Lower healthy food prices means more people able to buy it, hence more money in their pockets.
Ok, all done. Thank you for listening to this rant.
